If you are tired of shaving several areas, a full body plan can be simpler than booking each area separately. This guide from MD Laser Med Spa explains what a full body laser hair removal plan in Plano includes, how sessions are planned, and where to find our published prices.
What "full body" includes
On our price list, the Full Body plan covers the face, neck, arms, underarms, chest, abdomen, back, bikini/Brazilian, legs, hands and feet. At your consultation, tell your provider which areas matter most to you so the plan and visit length fit your goals.
How treatment works
Laser hair removal uses light energy absorbed by the pigment in the hair. At our Plano clinic we use the Candela GentleMax Pro, which offers two wavelengths (755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG). Your technician chooses settings for your skin and hair in each area. The goal is long-term hair reduction over a series of sessions.
Why a series, and how sessions are spaced
Hair grows in cycles, so treatment is planned as a package of sessions spaced weeks apart. Different areas can grow at different rates, and your provider will recommend spacing that fits your hair and schedule. For more detail, read how many laser hair removal sessions you may need.
Before and after your visits
- Shave the areas as instructed and avoid waxing, plucking or threading, because the hair root needs to be present.
- Avoid tanning, sunburn and self-tanner. See why recent sun exposure matters before laser hair removal.
- Mild redness or warmth can occur and usually settles on its own. Follow the aftercare guidance your provider gives you.
