You'll notice hair shedding 1–2 weeks after your first treatment; significant reduction becomes visible after 2–3 sessions.
Before Your Appointment
Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks before treatment. Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, pluck or use depilatory creams for 4 weeks prior. Skip tanning beds and self-tanners. Arrive with clean skin — no lotions, makeup or deodorant on the area. Stay hydrated, and tell us about any medications or skin conditions.
Aftercare
Apply ice packs for any redness or swelling, and use aloe or a prescribed soothing cream. Avoid hot showers, saunas and steam rooms for 48 hours, and stay out of the sun for 2 weeks — SPF 50+ daily. Skip makeup on treated areas for 24 hours, don't scratch or pick, and after a week, gentle exfoliation helps prevent ingrown hairs.
