Med Spa Serving Frisco, TX
We're not in Frisco. We're about fifteen minutes south of it, on the Dallas North Tollway in Plano — and a good share of the people in our chairs on any given week drove down from Frisco to get there.
This page is for them, and for you if you're deciding whether the drive is worth it.
Getting here from Frisco
We're at 3001 Dallas Pkwy, Ste 260, Plano, TX 75093 — inside Doctors of Internal Medicine, second floor, west entrance.
From most of Frisco it's a straight shot down the Dallas North Tollway. If you're near Stonebriar, The Star, or anywhere along Preston, you're looking at roughly fifteen minutes outside of rush hour. Coming from west Frisco adds a few minutes; from Frisco Square it's about the same.
Parking is free and surface-level — no garage, no ticket, no circling. Take the west entrance and the elevator to the second floor.
Most people find the drive is shorter than the wait times at the larger chain locations closer to home. We run on appointment, not on volume, so when your slot is at 2:00 you're being treated at 2:00.
Laser hair removal
This is what most Frisco patients come to us for first.
We treat with the Candela GentleMax Pro, a dual-wavelength system — Alexandrite at 755nm and Nd:YAG at 1064nm. The practical meaning of that: it isn't one setting for everybody. Lighter skin generally responds well to the Alexandrite wavelength, while deeper skin tones are treated with the Nd:YAG, which passes more safely through melanin in the skin to reach the pigment in the follicle.
That matters more in this part of Texas than people expect. Frisco and Plano are genuinely diverse, and a device that only handles one end of the Fitzpatrick scale leaves a lot of people either untreated or treated badly. We see a fair number of patients who were turned away elsewhere, or who were treated on the wrong setting and came away with burns or hyperpigmentation.
What to expect: most areas need six to eight sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, because hair grows in cycles and the laser only affects follicles in the active growth phase. You'll see meaningful thinning well before session six. Results vary from person to person, and hormonal factors — PCOS in particular — can change the picture.
Fall and winter are the better months to start. Laser works on the contrast between hair pigment and skin pigment, so the closer your skin is to its natural untanned tone, the more effectively and safely we can treat.
Morpheus8 RF microneedling
Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered below the skin surface. The needles create controlled micro-injuries that trigger collagen production; the RF energy heats the deeper tissue, which tightens existing collagen and stimulates more of it.
It's the treatment we reach for when someone wants meaningful improvement in skin laxity, acne scarring, or texture on the lower face and jawline without surgery and without a long recovery.
Expect redness and a sandpaper-like texture for two to four days. Most people plan three sessions about a month apart, and the collagen response continues building for several months after the final one.
Microneedling
Standard microneedling — collagen induction therapy — without the radiofrequency component. Fine needles create micro-channels in the skin, and the healing response builds new collagen and elastin.
It's a good fit for early texture concerns, enlarged pores, fine lines and mild acne scarring, and it's gentler and less expensive than Morpheus8. Downtime is usually a day or two of redness.
If you're not sure which of the two you need, that's a consultation question rather than a website question. The honest answer depends on how deep the concern sits in the skin, and we'd rather look at your face than guess.
Chemical peels
We work across a range of depths, from light peels that brighten and even out tone with essentially no downtime, to medium-depth peels for sun damage, melasma and stubborn pigmentation.
Peels need more care on deeper skin tones — the wrong agent at the wrong strength can trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is a harder problem to fix than the one you came in for. We build up gradually rather than starting aggressive.
Peels also pair well with laser hair removal schedules, and we'll sequence them so the two aren't working against each other.
Who you'll see
Tuba has more than twenty years in medical aesthetics. Sabrina is our licensed esthetician and laser technician. It's a small practice by design — you'll see the same people each visit, and whoever treated you last time will remember your settings, your skin, and what we agreed to try next.
Every new patient gets a consultation before treatment. Sometimes that consultation ends with us telling you that the thing you asked for isn't the right thing for your skin. We'd rather have that conversation than take your money for something that won't work.
Questions Frisco patients ask
How far is it from Frisco?
About fifteen minutes from most of Frisco, straight down the Dallas North Tollway to 3001 Dallas Pkwy in Plano. Parking is free and at surface level.
Do you have a Frisco location?
No. We have one location, in Plano, and we'd rather say that plainly than imply otherwise. A large share of our patients come from Frisco, Allen, McKinney and The Colony.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?
Most areas take six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Hair grows in cycles, and each session only affects the follicles that are actively growing at that moment. Results vary from person to person.
Does laser hair removal work on darker skin?
Yes, when the right wavelength is used. The Candela GentleMax Pro includes an Nd:YAG 1064nm wavelength specifically suited to deeper skin tones. A patch test at consultation confirms the correct settings before we treat a full area.
Which is right for me, Morpheus8 or microneedling?
It depends on how deep the concern sits. Surface texture, pores and fine lines often respond to standard microneedling. Laxity, jawline definition and deeper acne scarring generally call for Morpheus8's radiofrequency component. We'll tell you honestly at consultation which one fits.
