Botox is one of the most common questions we hear at MD Laser Med Spa in Plano. Most first-time guests want to know the same three things: which areas can be treated, how many units an area usually takes, and what it will cost. This guide walks through the areas listed on our price list so you can come to your free consultation with realistic expectations.
How Botox pricing works at MD Laser Med Spa
Botox is priced at $13 per unit. You pay only for the units used. The unit counts below are common starting points; your provider confirms the dose at your consultation after looking at your muscle movement and goals.
Frown lines ("11s")
The vertical lines between the eyebrows are often the first area people ask about. Frown lines commonly take about 20 units, which is about $260 at our listed price.
Forehead lines
Horizontal forehead lines commonly take 10–20 units, or $130–$260. Forehead dosing is planned together with the brow area, because the goal is a softer look while keeping natural expression. Your provider may suggest treating the frown lines at the same visit.
Crow's feet
The lines at the outer corners of the eyes commonly take 12–24 units in total, or $156–$312. The range is wider here because smile lines vary a lot from person to person.
Other areas on the price list
- Lip flip: commonly 4–6 units, $52–$78.
- Jawline slimming: commonly 40–50 units, $520–$650.
Every dose is confirmed at your consultation. If an area is not a good fit for you, your provider will tell you and talk through other options.
Botox or dermal fillers?
Botox relaxes the muscles that create lines when you move, such as frowning or squinting. Dermal fillers add volume to areas such as the cheeks or lips. Some guests use one, some use both. Filler pricing is quoted at your free consultation because it depends on the product and the area.
Planning around an event
Results from Botox appear gradually over the days after your appointment, not right away. If you have a wedding, photos or another occasion coming up, plan your visit a few weeks ahead so there is time for a follow-up if your provider recommends one.
