Laser Hair Removal Touch-Ups in Plano: What Happens After Your Package

Finishing a laser hair removal package is a milestone, but many people in Plano still wonder what comes next. Will some hair come back? When does a touch-up make sense, and what does it cost? This guide from MD Laser Med Spa explains how touch-up sessions work after you complete a plan.

What happens after your last package session

Laser hair removal is designed for long-term hair reduction. Many clients see long-term hair reduction after a full series; results vary. Over time, some people notice a few fine or scattered hairs returning, often because of hormonal changes, new hair growth in the area, or hairs that were not in an active growth phase during the series.

That does not mean the treatment did not work. It simply means a short maintenance visit can help keep the area where you want it.

When to consider a touch-up

  • You notice regrowth that bothers you, even if it is lighter or finer than before.
  • You have an event, vacation or season coming up and want the area to look its smoothest.
  • Your provider recommends a check-in after reviewing how the area responded to your series.

There is no fixed schedule that fits everyone. Some people want a touch-up within a year of finishing, others much later, and some do not need one. Your provider can look at the area and tell you whether a session is worthwhile.

Touch-up pricing for returning clients

Returning clients who have completed any plan can book single touch-up treatments at the prices on our price list:

  • Small Area (such as upper lip, chin or sideburns): $25
  • Medium Area (such as underarms, full face or neck): $65
  • Large Area (such as Brazilian, arms, upper legs or lower legs): $100
  • X Large Area (full legs or full back): $200

Check the price list for the complete list of areas and the current terms.

Getting ready for a touch-up

Preparation is the same as for your original sessions:

We use the Candela GentleMax Pro (755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG), and your technician will review your settings again because skin and hair can change over time. Afterward, follow the same aftercare as before; our laser hair removal aftercare guide covers the basics.

Not finished with your series yet?

If you are still in the middle of a package, touch-ups are not the next step yet. Keep your regular schedule and read how many laser hair removal sessions you may need and how they are spaced.
